Registration

We’re partnering with the Algona Public Library to offer a program about bird identification and we hope you can join us! We will learn all about what to look for when trying to identify different birds and put what we learn into practice on a short bird-watching hike around Water’s Edge Nature Center. No experience or equipment necessary - just come learn with us!

This field trip is free to attend and open to any young birders and their parents/guardians. Iowa Young Birders welcomes everyone to the outdoors regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, religion, creed, national origin, or disability status. Our events can accommodate wheelchairs, vision and hearing impairments, and other health conditions. For questions, or to request accommodations for an upcoming event, please send us a message or email.
