The Loess Hills landform, stretching along the Missouri River in western Iowa, is one of only a few of this landform in the world. Not surprisingly, this area is fantastic for seeing some of Iowa's special birds! Join us for a morning visit to Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, nestled in the heart of the Loess Hills near Sioux City. We'll join Woodbury County Parks for a hike exploring the prairies and Bur Oak forests of this area with hopes of seeing some neat wildlife, plants, and birds of course!
