The Loess Hills landform, stretching along the Missouri River in western Iowa, is one of only a few of this landform in the world. Not surprisingly, this area is fantastic for seeing some of Iowa's special birds! Join us for a morning visit to Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center, nestled in the heart of the Loess Hills near Sioux City. We'll join Woodbury County Parks for a hike exploring the prairies and Bur Oak forests of this area with hopes of seeing some neat wildlife, plants, and birds of course! This trip is free but advanced registration is required.
