Red Rock Reservoir is the largest reservoir in Iowa and is a migrant magnet in spring and fall. Shorebirds on the upper end of the Reservoir, waterbirds below the dam, and songbirds in the many surrounding parks and recreation areas - you can see it all in the fall at this exciting birding location! Join us as we partner with Marion County Conservation Board for a visit to Ivan's Recreation Area below the Red Rock dam and explore other areas around the Reservoir in search of Pileated Woodpeckers, migrating waterbirds and shorebirds, and anything else we can find. This trip is free but advanced registration is required.
