First established in 1935, Yellow River State Forest is situated in the heart of the Effigy Mounds-Yellow River Forest Bird Conservation Area which was recently named as a Globally Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society. Join us as we search for Cerulean Warblers and Red-shouldered Hawks, two birds of conservation concern that call this area home each summer. This trip will be more suitable for advanced young birders ages 12 and older. The trip is free but advanced registration is required.
